2 CLAN 50 Challenge - A note of thanks for all the assistance in making our sponsored cycle event such a success. Acumen's grand total for the upprentice initiative was just in excess of £10k. Overall the event raised £135k, the largest single fundraising event in CLAN's history. Fantastic             Mervyn Stanley

4 Grampian Tigers AGM - Where: Aberdeen Grammar Rugby Club - Top of  Queen's Road (just down from Roundabout on Anderson Drive). We will meet in the BASEMENT function room - please buy your drinks in the upstairs bar. When: 18:30 Monday 7th December 2009. Please try to attend if you can. We will try to keep it short, but this is a necessary part of the running of the club. I will bring along the Development Plan for 2010 that was developed during the meeting with Scottish Cycling in October             Gareth Smith

Scottish Cycling Volunteer & Coaching Conference

Scottish Cycling Volunteer & Coaching Conference

The Scottish Cycling Volunteer & Coaching Conference will take place at the Stirling Management Centre, University of Stirling on Saturday 16th January and Sunday 17th January 2010.

This Conference is Free of Charge (for some of the workshops British Cycling membership is required).

 

The programme is now confirmed!

Saturday 16th January:

  • Assistant MTB XC Commissaires Course (full day)
  • Workshops for Event Organisers throughout the day (including: Event Officials, Risk Assessment, Marketing and PR)
  • Safeguarding and Protecting Children (three hour workshop)
  • In Safe Hands (three hour workshop)
  • Timekeeping and Recording Training (three hour workshop)
  • A Club for All (three hour workshop)

 

Sunday 17th January:

  • Assistant Road Commissaires Course (full day)
  • Coaching Development Session (full day, for British Cycling qualified coaches)
